New York might be across the Atlantic, but the Gorvins charity strava club isn’t going to let that stand in our way. On a mission to chew up 10,000 kilometres, all in the aid of charity, our small team of volunteers are tracking their runs, hikes and walks on the strava app.
With a target of running, walking and hiking 10 thousand kilometres collectively, we’ll have hit New York and come back to the shores of blighty by the time we hit that magical 10k.
All efforts will raise money for Gorvins’ two charities of the year.
Our charities
The Motor Neurone Disease Association is dedicated to improving the care and support for people with MND, their families and carers. As well as providing support for MND sufferers, the charity also funds pioneering research that will one day provide a cure for the disease.
The Manchester Foundation Trust Charity mission is to support excellence in treatment, care and research for patients every day. With a desire to make a difference to the people they treat, the charity funds the very best treatments in the very best facilities.
