Changes to planning control and planning policies are the main agenda items for those meeting in the second of a new forum which brings together leading commercial landlords and agents from Stockport town centre.
Led by Martin Hoare, Partner and Joint Head of Commercial Property and Guy Lightowler, Partner and Head of Property Litigation at Gorvins will bring together representatives from the local property market to gather at The Apprenticeship Store at Grand Central on 7th October 2014 to look at the substantial changes to planning control and policy in recent years.
Discussions will focus on how those changes have been driven by pressures on local resources and how local planning authorities can best balance competing demands. There will also be a key focus on planning applications
Town Centre Manager Graeme Vout, who leads the forum from Stockport MBC, will update the forum on the Town Centre Access Strategy and the £70 million worth of funding which has been secured for infrastructure projects in Stockport since the last meeting.
