Stockport law firm Gorvins Solicitors are proudly supporting The Alzheimer’s Society’s newest scheme ‘Will to Remember’ which has been launched in the North West as a scheme for will writing and planning for the future.
Launched in May across Cumbria, Lancashire, Greater Manchester, Merseyside and Cheshire, the scheme is in partnership with Solicitors for the Elderly (SFE) and aims to make the process of writing a Will easier.
Planning for the future by making a Will is one of the most important things to consider for everyone. For many, choosing the right solicitor and understanding costs as well as other legal decisions around writing a Will can be a stressful task.
By using the ‘Will to Remember’ scheme, participants can be assured they are choosing an approved solicitor when writing a Will.
Valerie Bown, Partner and Joint Head of Gorvins’ Wills, Trust & Probate department commented on the scheme, “Gorvins has a strong commitment to our local community and this scheme will allow us to give people the support in planning for the future.
Our links with the Alzheimer’s Society’s national scheme, Dementia Friends and our chosen charity of the year ‘The Weekend Day Centre for Dementia Care’ underpins our commitment to schemes like ‘Will to Remember’ to give the best advice and help local people with the support they need.”
Liam Brown, Legacy & Recognition Giving Will to Remember Manager says “Will to remember is available to our supporters, people with dementia, carers, members, volunteers and staff. It will also be available to people who have not yet heard or are not yet supporters of Alzheimer’s Society.”
Gorvins are specialists in succession planning for clients and are urging people to sign up for their ‘Will to Remember’ today.
