The Family Legal team at leading law firm Gorvins has co-hosted a glamorous night to remember at designer boutique Black White Denim in Wilmslow raising £270 for Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention.
Organised by Sally Leaman, Partner and Head of Family Law at Gorvins and Jo Davies, Owner of Black White Denim, the evening offered special fashion insights into the boutique’s ‘Effortless made Easy’ approach to dressing for every occasion.
Guests also enjoyed manicures and hand and shoulder massages from Grace Beauty Therapy in Hale and browsed through a beautiful range of handbags from Sacculos, who have a pop-up presence in the Black White Denim store.
Fund-raising centred on a raffle which included a year’s supply of designer clothing from Black White Denim Basics range and a Marc Jacobs sister wallet, donated by Sacculos, among other prizes.
Black White Denim also offered an exclusive discount on selected items of clothing purchased on the night.
Gorvins Sally Leaman said: “We wanted to create an enjoyable evening for clients to highlight how we help people with all aspects of family life and to give those who are perhaps looking to refresh lives with some designer inspiration, which we certainly got from Jo and her team.
“We also wanted to use the event to raise money for Genesis, which is a fantastic cause.”
Jo Davies said. “If you get the three essential building blocks of black, white and denim right everything else will fall into place. You simply can’t go wrong. These are the foundation colours of any stylish woman’s wardrobe.
“We enjoyed showcasing the very best contemporary designers to Gorvins clients and our own customers and providing tips on how to wear it all with ease.”
Angela Wrobel, Corporate Fundraiser for Genesis Breast Cancer Prevention, said: “Gorvins and Black White Denim are super supporters of the charity. This latest donation from them will go towards funding crucial research into predicting and preventing breast cancer. A huge thank you to everyone involved.”
